Named For The Family That Gave The Land

Sachse is named for William C. Sachse and his wife, Elizabeth Straly Sachse. She had received a 320-acre Peters colony land grant in 1846, and in 1886 the family gave right-of-way to the Gulf, Colorado and Santa Fe Railway in exchange for naming the station Sachse.

The post office opened that same year under the name Saxie, and it was changed to Sachse in 1892. By 1914 the town had its own bank, a Western Union station and three general stores. Sachse incorporated in April 1956, and it grew from 250 people that year to 9,751 by 2000. It sits on State Highway 78, the same road that runs through Farmersville, northeast of Garland in Dallas and Collin counties.

We inspect the whole tree, root flare included, before we recommend anything, and we’ll tell you when a tree doesn’t need work yet. The right work, done right.

Emerald Ash Borer Is Here

EMERALD ASH BORER. It’s confirmed in both Dallas and Collin counties, and Sachse sits in both. As of June 2026, Texas A&M Forest Service lists forty confirmed Texas counties, and both are on the list. The Forest Service says infested trees die within two to five years. If you have an ash tree in Sachse, that’s worth knowing now rather than later. Usually the first sign is the top of the canopy thinning out, then shoots coming out low on the trunk. Whether an ash is worth protecting, and what that would take, is a conversation to have standing in front of the tree, not over the phone. Walking your ash and telling you which one you have costs you nothing.

Our Standard

The Arborwise™ Way

Six standards, on every job in Sachse, whether it is one limb or a full removal.

01

Safety Comes First

Safety is not optional on an Arborwise™ job. Required PPE, proper rigging, controlled cuts, and a crew that speaks up the moment something looks unsafe. No job is worth someone getting hurt.

02

We Don't Cut Corners

Doing it right sometimes takes longer. We do not rush an unsafe cut, skip PPE, or leave a bad cleanup because it is faster. Good tree work is deliberate.

03

Your Property Matters

Every yard belongs to someone who trusted us to be there. We protect your driveway, your landscaping, and your trees with the right cuts and the right decisions, not just the fastest ones.

04

The Little Things Count

We keep our equipment maintained, our loads secure, and we pick up the small sticks most crews leave behind. We leave every property better than we found it.

05

We Look Out For Each Other

Arborwise™ is a crew, not a collection of individuals. We communicate, watch for hazards, and speak up for one another on every single job.

06

Even When It's Harder

The Arborwise™ Way is not always the fastest way. It is the right way, even when it takes longer, and even when nobody is watching.
